The protection of aquatic ecosystems and clean water is a driving force in the activities of KS Wild. Through forest and wildland protection campaigns, KS Wild strives to protect waterways from degradation and improve their quality throughout the region.

The Aquatic Conservation Strategy of the Northwest Forest Plan and the Clean Water Act are the main tools that KS Wild uses to protect aquatic ecosystems and the critters that live there.

KS Wild works to protect the integrity of the Ashland watershed. We have been active in the community regarding logging proposals in the watershed and have been monitoring the process of the proposed Mt. Ashland ski expanion for several years.
