Lesley Adams, Outreach Director - lesley (at) kswild (dot) org
Lesley graduated from Southern Oregon University with a B.S. in Environmental Studies/Biology. She served as Co-Director of the Ecology Center of the Siskiyous, where she worked to improve paper procurement policies on campus and helped create the Native American Ecological Education Symposium. She has served as a Board member for the Lomakatsi Restoration Project and the Global Justice Ecology Project. She currently sits on the grantmaking committee of the MRG Foundation. Lesley organizes various activities for KS Wild, including the door canvass, website, film series, event planning, volunteer coordination and material development.
Chris Len, Legal Director - chris (at) kswild (dot) org
Chris is a graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School with a JD and certificate of specialization in environmental and natural resources law and is admitted to the bar of numerous jurisdictions. Chris also holds a masters degree in environmental policy and a bachelors in biology. As KS Wild's newest staff member, Chris is concentrating his efforts on our new Private Timberlands Campaign while working on legal aspects of KS Wild's public lands work, especially in California.
Dave Levine, Administrative Director - dave (at) kswild (dot) org
Dave has lived in southern Oregon for five years. A 1981 graduate of Yale University, he has long been committed to environmental conservation and sustainable land use. He comes to KS Wild after more than a decade running his own business making cabinetry and furniture. This experience is helping him to streamline the bookkeeping and administrative duties at KS Wild. He has also taken on the role of grants administrator, working to ensure continued funding for KS Wild's conservation work. Dave lives and works in Williams, OR.
George Sexton, Conservation Director - gs (at) kswild (dot) org
George is a graduate of the Lewis & Clark Environmental Law Program and has been forest activist for over 10 years. He has worked with for the Oregon Natural Resources Council, the Northwest Environmental Defense Council, the American Lands Alliance, and the Oregon Wildlife Federation. He has had several impressive victories such as shutting down old-growth logging in Salem, OR's municipal watershed and defeating several old-growth logging proposals near Eugene OR. George is now responsible for monitoring about 3 million acres of federal land in the Klamath-Siskiyou. George also coordinates KS Wild's participation in local, regional, and national lawsuits to protect biological diversity of the Klamath-Siskiyou.
Stephanie Tidwell, Executive Director - stephanie (at) kswild (dot) org
Stephanie has a M.A. in journalism and a graduate certificate in environmental policy from the University of Colorado School of Mass Communications. She has a B.A. in applied anthropology from Appalachian State University. Stephanie recently served as Executive Director for the Utah Environmental Congress, which does work similar to that of KS Wild throughout the state of Utah. She has also worked on wildlife conservation and sustainable living campaigns for many years and is currently building a zero-emission, rammed earth home just outside of Ashland.
Joseph Vaile, Campaign Director - joseph (at) kswild (dot) org
Joseph graduated with honors from Edgewood College with degree in Biology. He has done advanced coursework in Conservation Biology at Southern Oregon University. Previous to his tenure at KS Wild, Joseph gained experience working with the Bureau of Land Management as a wildlife biologist. Joseph coordinates KS Wild's campaigns and participates in regional and national conservation issues. He also represents KS Wild in collaborative efforts to restore national forests.
