We need the leadership of Governor Kate Brown to prevent these wild creatures from becoming trophies.
Wolves are among the most majestic creatures in Oregon.
They are intelligent, social, and beautiful animals, and they are critical to healthy landscapes. They should never be put in the cross hairs of trophy hunters.
Oregon is preparing to finalize a new plan for managing wolves. Governor Kate Brown has taken a hands-off approach to this plan and we need her to step up and stand for what the majority of Oregonians want.
Wolves should never be killed for fun. Nor should they be killed in an unnatural attempt to increase deer populations. Non-lethal controls are the most effective means of protecting livestock. And wolves must remain on the endangered species list until they are fully recovered.
Please take a minute to protect Oregon wolves by making your voice heard.
