He provides our conservation programs with aquatic science support and works to reign in mining that often damages stream ecosystems. Rich enjoys camping at the coast to fish and hike. He has a bachelors and masters degree in zoology from Southern Illinois University and assisted with salmon research on the southern Oregon coast as a graduate research assistant at Oregon State University. Rich began his career as a wildlife biologist with the Bureau of Land Management in Elko, Nevada.
