Bonnie Johnson

Bonnie moved to southern Oregon in 2007 and has been an active volunteer and member with many conservation groups in the region, including Rogue RIverkeeper, Rogue Climate, Soda Mountain Wilderness Council, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy, Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, and of course, KS Wild.  

Bonnie attended UC Berkeley and the University of Washington and earned a Bachelor’s degree in History and Masters in Library Science.  Her professional library career included reference expertise in the environmental sciences at Northern Arizona University. Bonnie also served as a former officer with local Sierra Club groups and League of Women Voters groups and now teaches some at OLLI at SOU. She’s an avid hiker, snowshoer, and civic activist.
