In celebration of Earth Month, Mori D. and J.Garloff Design present Held by Earth, Lit by Fire—a collection of works shaped by relationship with land, body, and lived experience.

Mori’s imagery carries an inner fire—warm, humorous, and catalytic—offering art as a form of medicine that meets these changing times with courage, recognition, and embodied truth. Her work invites connection through presence, wit, and a deep honoring of the feminine and the natural world.

John’s sculptural lighting through J.Garloff Design brings form, structure, and illumination, shaping environments that feel steady, attentive, and alive. His recent work explores creature-based forms with humor and abstraction, allowing light to move through care, warmth, and presence.

Together, their work honors Earth as a living presence and fire as a generative force—holding, illuminating, and inviting connection through creative integrity.

John and Mori are honored to return to Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center for April’s First Friday to share this offering in gratitude for the landscapes and ecosystems that hold us.
