KS Wild is seeking a partner to help develop and implement our 30th anniversary campaign!
Over the past nearly 3 decades, KS Wild has successfully defended old-growth forests, helped designate new Wild & Scenic Rivers and National Monuments across tens of thousands of acres of public lands, and secured important victories for waterways - like stopping the Jordan Cove LNG export project. We hope to use this opportunity to highlight a lifecycle moment of accomplishments and impact, while seeking to deepen engagement with supporters, especially long-term community members who’ve been a part of this movement to protect wild nature.
Equal Opportunity
This is an equal employment opportunity to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Who we are
The Klamath-Siskiyou Wildlands Center has a 24-year history of environmental advocacy. We are an organization of thirteen staff members and a volunteer board, who are dedicated to protecting the biodiversity of the Klamath-Siskiyou region in southern Oregon and northern California. Most of our work is directed at protecting the eight million acres of public lands in the region and proactively working for permanent protections of special places. Rogue Riverkeeper is a project of KS Wild that shares much of our work. Our efforts are strongly informed by science and draw heavily on environmental law and community organizing. Our work atmosphere is relaxed and fairly flexible, but can be fast paced and exciting.
