Amy first volunteered for KSWild in the late 1990's when the office was in a yurt in the backwoods of the Applegate Valley. She went on to work with KS Wild and the Siskiyou Project on multiple projects including protecting the Rough and Ready Creek area from a nickel mine and roadless areas from post Biscuit Fire salvage logging.
Bonnie moved to southern Oregon in 2007 and has been an active volunteer and member with many conservation groups in the region, including Rogue RIverkeeper, Rogue Climate, Soda Mountain Wilderness Council, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy, Friends of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, and of course, KS Wild.
Joseph is a teacher in the Illinois Valley. He taught first grade at the local public school for 11 years before founding an outdoor preschool. Now he spends his mornings tromping through the local parks with troops of young children. In the afternoons Joe tutors all ages in all subjects. He enjoys tangling himself in thickets of whitethorn in his quest to find the Kalmiopsis Wilderness boundary.
