Holly Christiansen, Membership & Engagement Coordinator
Holly moved to Ashland in 2000, after earning a degree in Biology with an emphasis in ecology from San Diego State University and served in the Peace Corps in Senegal as a sustainable agriculture volunteer. She has worked in a plant/fungus ecology lab, native plant and also rose nurseries, and on organic farms. She loves riding her bike, creative projects including photography, learning about local flora and fauna, and being near beautiful, clean rivers in southern Oregon. In her role as Membership and Engagement Coordinator, Holly helps KS Wild keep in touch with our 3,000 members, keeps our database up-to-date, and helps coordinate events and hikes.
The two best things about her job - seeing all the love and support continually coming in for our region's remaining wild places and leading hikers down the Rogue River Trail on our annual raft-supported hike trip with ARTA. Learn more about the trip here.
