Holly Christiansen (she/her), Administrative Director

Holly (she/her) grew up in what is now called California on land that was originally inhabited by Chumash people. She earned her BS in Biology and served over 2 years in the Peace Corps in Senegal as a sustainable agriculture volunteer after which she moved to Ashland in 2000. She has worked extensively with plants in science labs, nurseries, and organic vegetable farms. She has taken Siskiyou Field Institute classes to learn more about how special life in the KS is and can identify many dragon- and damselflies in the area.

Holly helps KS Wild keep in touch with our 3,000 members, keeps our database, procedures, software, photo archive, event pages, and contribution records up-to-date and various other tasks that keep an office running smoothly.

The two best things about her job - seeing all the love and support continually coming in to protect our region's remaining wild places and leading hikers on the Rogue River Trail on our annual raft-supported hike trip. Learn more about the trip here.
