Jen Aguayo, Rogue Riverkeeper Program Manager
Jen first discovered the Klamath-Siskiyou region while getting her B.S. in Environmental Studies at SOU in Ashland. She fell in love with the complex bio-region and spectacular rivers of Southern Oregon and Northern California and worked with KS Wild as a community canvasser in her last year at SOU.
Over the years, Jen’s work has spanned the full landscape of environmental engagement—from her work as a field biologist, to conservation education with the National Park Service to coordinating large-scale advocacy initiatives, and co-managing a vibrant community nature center. She has led projects focused on habitat restoration, sustainability planning, and youth education, building bridges between local action and broader environmental policy. Woven through her work is a consistent dedication to water protection and inspiring people to take an active role as stewards of their watersheds and ecosystems - connecting partners, educators, and communities to protect the beautiful places we love.
When she’s not working, you can find Jen hiking, skiing, paddling, gardening, and sharing stories that celebrate the connections between people and the natural world.
