Leo Helm, Intern & Events Intern + Water Quality Technician

Leo grew up in Portland, and first began learning about public land management issues while working on a conservation crew with Northwest Youth Corps. They graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2025 with a degree in Environmental Science & Policy, and earned a certificate in Geospatial Science.

Leo strongly believes in community-led organization and environmental protections as a force for human rights, and is excited to begin as an intern and help bring together new and long-time supporters of the wild.

You can find Leo working on the Rogue Buzzway project with Pollinator Project Rogue Valley, volunteering out in the community, and playing banjo.
