Our guided raft-supported hike is the most comfortable way to experience the Rogue River Trail. You hike with a daypack while the rafts shuttle all our gear. ARTA’s friendly guides provide delicious meals and water along the trail. Join us on this amazing adventure!
Hey, nature lovers: Are you ready to immerse yourself in the world of wildflowers? Join us for our annual wildflower hike at Eight Dollar Mountain Botanical Area! This is not just any hike—it’s a chance to dive into the stunning serpentine plant communities that make this area so special!
Join our Conservation Director, George Sexton, on a five mile hike through towering old-growth forests along the Upper Rogue River in the High Cascades Ranger District. He will lead you through a beautifully in tact forested ecosystem close to the Upper Rogue River where the wildflowers will be blooming and the wildlife will be awakening.
Join us for a natural history walk while we discuss the functions and threats to floodplains, water quality concerns in Little Butte Creek & the Rogue River, and we will do some basic birding and botanizing. The walk will also include oak woodland habitat and chaparral with views of Upper Table Rock.
Bag a peak with KS Wild! Haleigh will lead you on this 9-mile trek to the top of Stein Butte at over 4,000' elevation to enjoy sweeping views of the Siskiyou Crest from the nearby Red Buttes and Grayback Mountain across the state line into northern California.

This popular hike is an out-and-back route to the Boundary Springs, tucked away in the northern part of Crater Lake National Park, where waters of the Rogue River bursts forth from volcanic soils. Enjoy this moderate 5-mile round-trip hike where the Rogue River feels more like a creek. This is a beautiful trail with a couple of cascading waterfalls and a lush riparian zone set against the backdrop of an intact post-fire forest.

This moderately strenuous hike will be a day-long affair from the Rogue Valley and will include a 6-7 mile loop through the lake basin and up to Mt. Elijah. The trail wanders through towering old-growth forests and wildflower meadows at Bigelow Lakes.
Visit hidden springs and beaver dams along Bear Creek in Phoenix. We will walk on the flat paved Greenway from Blue Heron Park to Northridge Terrace and back. 2.5 miles round trip.
